The
Santacruzan at Sunset: Festival of Lights and Roses is a new take on the
tradition of the Flores de Mayo and
the Santacruzan. The celebration
honors Filipino heritage, the Holy Mother, and Queen Helena, the founder of the
cross, through a procession.
This Santacruzan
is unique in that it takes place in the late afternoon with an anticipated
Mass to follow. Plans for the 2014 Santacruzan at Sunset will begin at the end of this year. Check back at the beginning of 2014 for more information!
